CLAIM: TikTok user claimed Apollo Quiboloy was found not guilty of charges.
RATING: MISSING CONTEXT
A TikTok video erroneously claimed that controversial pastor Apollo Quiboloy was not guilty of the charges filed against him.
TikTok user @ejgabalfin posted the video taunting his critics and saying “Ano kayo ngayon? Not guilty mga ka-chismax.” (What now? [He’s] not guilty my fellow ka-chismax).
However, he did not explain his claim and did not provide context.
Quiboloy had only pleaded not guilty to allegations of qualified human trafficking and child abuse according to his legal counsel Israelito Torreon.
The embattled pastor faced the Pasig City Regional Trial Court for the first time on Sept. 13, together with his co-accused.
The courts have yet to decide on the cases against Quiboloy. Hurt Allauigan
