Pinay Nurse na Ilang Taong Pinagsilbihan ang Amerikanang Amo Niya, Pinamanahan ng P2 Bilyon Nang Pumanaw Ito!

Do you believe in the old saying you shall reap what you sow? So if you have shown kindness and generosity to other people in your life, good deeds will eventually return to you. This is what happened to a Pinay nurse named Gicela Hadassah Oloroso, who literally hit the jackpot when her former patient left her more than $60 million, or approximately Php 2 billion.

Gicela Oloroso from Capiz, Philippines, served as a nurse to Huguette Clark for more than two decades. Clark is the wealthy heiress of an American senator. She’s also known for her philanthropic works in her lifetime. At 82 years old, Oloroso served as Clark’s nurse.

With no other family or friends, the elderly heiress relies on her nurse aids and trusted servants to take care of her. Among her trusted confidant is Oloroso, who devoted most of her time in attending to Clark’s needs. She worked for Clark for more than two decades, even after she gave birth to her own kids.

In exchange for Oloroso’s loyal service to her, Clark also never forget to express her deep appreciation. Whenever her loyal nurse is having financial troubles, Clark is always ready to help. As a matter of fact, she even voluntarily paid for the schooling of Oloroso’s three kids!

“She paid for twenty years of schooling for the three Peri children.. for their medical bills, piano lessons, violin lessons, and Hebrew lessons, their basketball and summer camps in upstate New York. When Peris had some trouble with back taxes, she paid for the as well.”

When Clark passed away at the age of 104 years old, she decided to bequeath her riches to her trusted aids. Among them is Oloroso, who received a lion’s share of more than $60 million! In Philippine currency, that’s equivalent to almost Php 2 billion.

The kindhearted Pinay nurse was also mentioned in Clark’s biography titled “Empty Mansion,” written by Bill Dedman and Paul Newell Jr.
