Noong May 12, nag-post ang isang Facebook user na si “Louie Jay” ng putol na video clip ni Roland “Aziz Monk” Olamit, chairman ng MNLF Davao, na nananawagan sa pagbibitiw ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Umabot na sa mahigit 21,000 ang reactions at 6,400 shares ng video habang isinusulat ito. Totoo namang nanawagan si Olamit ng pagbibitiw ni Marcos sa video, pero kulang ito sa buong konteksto ng kanyang pahayag.
Ang orihinal na video ay mula sa eksklusibong panayam ng “Pilipinas Kong Mahal,” isang commentary page, kay Olamit noong Abril 18, 2024.
Nag-ugat ang kanyang pahayag laban sa pangulo sa pagkadismaya niya sa administrasyon noong nakaraang taon—lalo na sa paglalabas ng arrest warrant laban kay Pastor Apollo Quiboloy ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ, at sa mga lumabas na disimpormasyon tungkol sa diumano’y paggamit ng droga ni Marcos Jr.
