Ni-repost ng isang pro-Duterte Facebook page ang isang larawan mula sa GMA News at maling ipinarating na ang badyet para sa mga opisyal na travel ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ay para sa “outing, party, concert.”
Ang art card na ni-repost ng Facebook page na “Hakbang ng Maisug – Cebu” ay tungkol sa iminumungkahi ng Department of Budget and Management para sa travel badyet ni Marcos Jr. sa 2025.
Ayon sa Presidential Decree No. 1177, Section 79, na pinirmahan ni dating diktador Ferdinand Marcos Sr., ama ng kasalukuyang Pangulo, ang Pangulo at iba pang mga opisyal at empleyado ng gobyerno ay may karapatan sa per diem, travel expenses, at allowances para sa mga awtorisadong byahe.
Gayunpaman, ang mga allowances na ito ay kinakailangang sumunod sa mga badyet rules.
Sinabi ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman sa isang press briefing na nabawasan ang byahe ng pangulo para sa parehong lokal at internasyonal, ayon ito sa mungkahi ng opisina ng pangulo.
Sa ngayon, briefier pa lamang tungkol sa panukalang pambansang badyet ang inilabas ng DBM, at ito ay nakatuon sa mga prayoridad na sektor at proyekto ng bansa para sa 2025. Leigh San Diego
