Jane de Leon thanked Joshua Garcia, the star of “Darna,” for assisting her with her wardrobe malfunction during the final song of this year’s ABS-CBN Christmas Special, which aired on December 18.
De Leon and Joshua Garcia may be seen singing “Andito Tayo para sa Isa’t Isa” with the other Kapamilya performers at the beginning of the finale.
The camera caught de Leon and Garcia conversing while she covered her green cocktail dress with her hands at one point. The two were spotted singing joyously before the end of the song, with de Leon holding Garcia from behind.
Screen captures of the “hug” were shared online by netizens, particularly admirers of the two.

The first teaser of the much-anticipated ABS-CBN rendition of the Mars Ravelo superhero, Darna, was shown during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special, giving Kapamilya viewers their first glance of de Leon as Darna.
De Leon appears in a number of action scenes in the short movie, with one moment showing Iza Calzado as Narda’s mother transferring the stone to her as the new Darna.
“Ang pinakamalaking kasalanan daw ay ‘yung may kakayahan kang tumulong pero wala ka namang ginawa,” de Leon says in another sequence.
Garcia appeared in the clip as Brian, de Leon’s leading man, and Janella Salvador as Valentina, the evil.
The highly anticipated series began taping on November 15 in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, utilizing ABS-Hollywood-standard CBN’s sound stages.
The series is directed by award-winning director Chito S. Rono and produced by the ABS-CBN entertainment unit JRB Creative Production.
