“Goin’ Bulilit” is one of the most popular youth-oriented shows in the Philippines. This gag show first premiered since 2005, and has featured countless of talented child stars in the Kapamilya network. But aside from providing joy and entertainment to kids, “Goin’ Bulilit” has also served as stepping stones for many child stars.
Some “Goin’ Bulilit” alumna became big stars in the industry, like Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Miles Ocampo, Alexa Ilacad, and many more. But there are also some child stars who prefer to have a different path from showbiz. Let’s take a look at these “Goin’ Bulilit” stars who became successful outside the entertainment industry.

These child stars started their showbiz career at an early age. However, unlike their peers, they chose to lead a different career. And while most of them are no longer working in the showbiz industry now, they have found joy and contentment in their chosen paths.
Aaron Junatas, who used to work with Sharlene San Pedro and Nash Aguas, graduated from Bulacan State University. He now works in the IT industry. His peer, Yong-an Chiu, also finished his studies in Electrical Engineering at the University of Sto. Tomas.
On the other hand, the charming child star Nikki Bagoporo pursued a career in singing. She’s now a certified recording artist and often delights her followers by sharing her songs on her Youtube channel. She also performs in bars and events.
Kobi Vidanes is still finishing his degree in Ateneo de Manila University. Angel Sy is also currently finishing up her education. Meanwhile, Alfred Labatos works as a DJ in MOR 101.9. Labatos also works as a voice actor for the Korean series “The World of a Married Couple.”
