Isang page sa Facebook na “Balitang Totoo” ang maling nagparatang kay sen. Risa Hontiverso na siya umano’y gumagamit ng “fake news” sa pag-kwestyon sa hearing ng dating tagapagsalita ng pangulo na si Harry Roque.
Maling sinabi ng post na gumamit ang daw senadora ng mga haka-hakang akusasyon para idiin si Roque at mga kaalyado ni dating pangulong Duterte sa isyu ng Philippine offshore gaming operations o POGO sa bansa.
Mali ding idiniin sa parehong post na ang pagkakaaresto kay Sun Liming, base sa mga kaso nito sa Tsina, ay walang kinalaman sa kasalukuyang hearing ni Roque.
Nauna nang iniulat ng media na si Sun Liming (alias Khuon Moeurn) ay posibleng konektado sa operasyon ng kontrobersyal na POGO na Lucky South 99 sa Porac, Pampanga bilang IT manager nito, ayon sa kumpirmasyon ni Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz.
Matatandaang si Roque ay nakalistang “legal head” sa organizational chart ng Lucky South 99 ayon mismo kay Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) chief Alejandro Tengco.
Naaresto si Liming/Mouern noong Hulyo 27 sa isang bahay sa Tuba, Benguet na siya umanong pag-aari ni Roque ayon sa POACC.
Naglabas din ng pahayag ang PAOCC sa isang news release sa pamamagitan ng Presidential Communications Office nitong Agosto 24 kung saan sinabi ng ahensya na patuloy na lumilitaw ang pangalan ni Roque sa kanilang imbestigasyon sa POGO. PressOne.PH
