More than 50,000 adherents of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) filled the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta at their recently concluded International Missionary Day 2024 to celebrate the birth of its leader.
The church’s Deputy Executive Minister, Bishop Jonathan S. Ferriol, led members and ministers of the church from the Philippines and around the world for the annual religious gathering.
The church said it conducts its missionary day to celebrate the birthdays of its chief executive minister, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol and Deputy executive minister, Bishop Jonathan S. Ferriol. Coinciding with this, the church also holds the “Home Free Global Crusade 15”.
The event was filled with performances from different groups like Saved by Grace and Christ-Up movers. The South Bay Praise and Worship team performed musical numbers for the attendees.
According to Bishop Jonathan Ferriol, this year’s celebration is a continuation of their 50th year foundation celebration that was held in August 2023, held at New Clark City, Pampanga. Ferriols said the church is now present in 72 countries around the globe.
The religious group said the event was participated by more than 50,000 at the Luneta and 43,037 watching via live stream. The event also saw 18,261 adherents making their “decisions of faith” and 5,198 getting baptized.
