Several Facebook pages of a collagen coffee brand edited pictures and videos of Doctors Willie and Liza Ong, along with those of other PH celebrities.
CLAIM: Dr. Willie Ong and other celebrities are promoting Bloom collagen coffee.
RATING: FALSE
Several Facebook pages of a collagen coffee brand edited pictures and videos of Dr. Willie Ong and wife Dr. Liza Ong, along with other celebrities, to falsely claim that they were promoting the product.
These advertisements were made by unverified pages using the Ongs’ names and altered clips of their vlogs to show the supposed benefits of the coffee brand.
There were also videos of other celebrities “trying” the brand, which were likewise edited from their vlogs, pictures, and interviews.
The advertisements have gathered about a thousand likes and comments from people despite several public statements otherwise posted by Ong and other personalities.
Ong stated in May 2023 that he and his wife were taking measures to prevent unauthorized entities from using their names.
Prior to the video, Ong said he did not advertise any products in April 2023 besides Birch Tree Advance. Ada May Sacil
