The Institute of Solidarity in Asia (ISA) reaffirmed its commitment to “transformative governance” during the culmination of its annual Public Governance Forum (PGF).
The forum highlighted the progress of nine partner organizations on strategy and development to enhance governance practices.
“We challenge every public institution not to be satisfied with being good, but strive to become better until the public institution reaches the best version of itself,” said lawyer Alex Lacson, ISA fellow and trustee.
ISA is a nonprofit governance reform organization working closely with national government agencies, local government units, hospitals, and schools to inspire change through good governance.
“We, in ISA, believe that we can build our ‘Dream Philippines’ if we can transform every public institution in the Philippines into a world-class institution,” Lacson said.
According to ISA, the tool for achieving this vision is the Performance Governance System (PGS), a holistic and collaborative framework for designing and executing roadmaps to long-term reform.
The forum was held at the AIM Conference Center in Legazpi, Makati, and was attended by 380 delegates. Angeline Narnola
