Danica Sotto could not stop herself from posting on Instagram her congratulations on the 40th birthday of her husband Marc Pingris on October 16, 2021. Although, she said, this is against what Marc often says that, “di naman kailangan mag post pa ako dahil alam mo naman na.”
Added Danica, “I can still remember the first time you called me. Nagulat ako ang at bilis mo mag salita ng Tagalog. When I asked you, sumagot ka agad ng ‘Ha? Dito naman ako lumaki. Half-French but born and raised in Pangasinan.’
“Umpisa pa lang nag paka totoo ka na sa amin ng friends ko. Di pasikat but very genuine and humble. You never tried to pretend to be someone you’re not. Kahit pa sobra yung kaba mo whenever you’d have to talk to my relatives before, humarap ka pa din ng maayos at proud ka sa humble beginnings mo.”
Danica belongs to the Sotto clan, known for showbiz and politics. She is the daughter of Vic Sotto to his first wife Dina Bonnevie, who is also a famous and great actress. Her paternal brother is Pasig City mayor Vico Sotto.
Continued the actress, “Every time you achieve something, hindi mo nakakalimutan bumalik at magpasalamat sa lahat. Direcho kang kausap. Talagang what you see is what you get. You always try to give your best in everything you do.”
“Of course you’re not perfect and no one else is. Pero masaya ako sa ‘yo and I’m so grateful to have you! Thank you for loving us so much! Today is a blessing because we get to celebrate God’s faithfulness in your life!!! Happy Birthday Bebe!!!” she furthered.
Danica ended her appreciation for Marc in Ilocano to say that she loves her husband: “Ay ayeten ka!”
