Ace comedian and It’s Showtime Host Vice Ganda (Jose Marie Viceral in real life) underwent a surgical procedure removing his kidney stones two months ago.
As a part of his recovery, he was advised to minimize his movements and his activities, including his stint as host in their noontime show.
He felt he can not move like he used to
To which the comedian feels uncomfortable with. He felt his medical procedures affect his daily job routines and how he face the audience.

“Gusto kong sumayaw, gusto kong harutin si Vhong, gusto ko makipagtulakan kay Anne, gusto kong makipaglandian sa inyong lahat dahil sa kalagitnaan ng tawa ko may nararamdaman ako, bumabagsak ang ngiti ko, naapektuhan ang trabaho ko,” Vice said after the production opening number at It’s Showtime.
His positive outlook remains
He expressed optimism about the results of his treatment and procedures. He earlier hoped that upon his ultrasound, the tube attached to his body can already be removed.

“Just finished ultrasound. Hopefully wala na mga stones sa kidney ko para matanggal na ung stent na nilagay sakin. Ang weird ng may tubo sa katawan.”

Unfortunately, it was found out that his body can’t function well without the said tube.

“Nung inu-ultra-sound, excited ako na makuha ‘yung result para mapatanggal, eh hindi pa okay, kaya hindi pa siya tatanggalin,” Vice explains.
Lately, he also expresses hopes his CT scan will turn out OK. He asked netizens to include him in their prayers.

“Bukas mayroon ako ng CT-Scan, sana pag-pray niyo ako para okay na ako, hindi kasi ako makagalaw,” Vice informs his fans.
That same day, he was not able to host the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment because he has to be rushed to the hospital for his CT scan.

“Sorry di ko na natapos ung TnT nakaschedule kasi ang CT Scan ko ngayon ng 4 pm so i have to go na to the hospital. Pray for me ha,” he tweets again.
Asking for his fans’ understanding
Vice Ganda also grab the chance to ask the It’s Showtime audience and viewers for their understanding to his condition and his being late and absent at the show.

“Sana minsan try to understand, baka akala umaarte ako hindi ako sumasama sa opening, hindi po. Nahihirapan po ako,” the TV host comedian implies.
He also give his heartfelt thanks for the support of his fans and friends. He expressed his simple wish that even with his limitations, he can still make his fans happy.
“I hope I made u happy today in Showtime. I’m happy when ur happy!” Vice Ganda tweets.
