Earlier on June, a beauty queen’s name was tarnished after she was featured in Raffy Tulfo’s program. Sharifa Akeel, who was hailed as Miss Asia Pacific International 2018, was accused of being the mistress of powerful congressman Esmael ‘Toto’ Mangudadatu. The legal wife sought help from Raffy Tulfo’s program.
According to Mylene Mangudadatu, Sharifa Akeel is denying that she has any relations to her husband. However, Mylene has several evidence to prove that the two were having an illicit affair. She also called for Sharifa to be dethroned from being a beauty queen, citing her immoral affair with a married man.

Just recently, Sharifa finally addressed these rumors. On her official Facebook page, she denied having any relations to the congressman. Although she did not mention Mylene’s name, it was clear that the post was addressed to her.
“I didn’t use anyone to be where I am now. I worked hard for these.. It’s you who did a good job of showing your true colors all on your own. Don’t blame me with your failed marriage and failed life. Blame your attitude that defines who you are right now.”
She also dared Mylene to file a case against her in court. According to Sharifa, social media is not the proper platform to air out their grievances. Instead, she prefers to discuss things in court.
“If you are really brave enough, don’t do the fighting over social media. We have the right place and proper venue to do such.. You really want to see me behind bars then proceed to court and flaunt all your evidence, if there are. Express all your agony, hatred and false accusations in court. I will see you there!”
On the other hand, not all people bought Sharifa’s explanation. Long before she explained herself, multiple photos proving her affair with Mangudadatu had already surfaced on social media. Some netizens even claimed that Sharifa should be dethroned.
