Amid the coronavirus pandemic, many people are struggling to get by. Even celebrities are not safe from financial struggles amid the pandemic. Among them is Alessandra de Rossi, who recently opened up during her interview with Luchi Cruz-Valdes. Alex opened up about the troubles she’s currently facing, claiming that she’s going bankrupt due to lack of projects.
“Of course, financially, walang pumapasok. Yung bank account ko right now is pa-bankrupt na. I only have P18,000 in my account. At the same time, sabay-sabay naoospital ang mga tao for many many reasons. My father was hospitalized lately. Naka-tatlong operations siya,” says Alex during her interview.

According to Alex, she has shelled out money these past few weeks due to the hospitalization of some of her family members. Among them is Alexandra’s father, whose health is also failing amid the pandemic. He’s currently in Italy, but the actress claimed that he’s not COVID-positive.
“Kasi, ako si ‘Miss O, Anong Problema?’ OK, let’s fix this. OK, gagawa tayo ng paraan. What if ganito, what if ganyan? What if ganyan? It’s the first time in my life that I don’t have the answers.”
Her latest project is the romance-drama film in Netflix “Through Night and Day,” where she worked with Paolo Contis. According to Alessandra, the reason why she was not that visible in showbiz for the past few months is because she has been ‘choosy’ with some of her projects.
Before the COVID pandemic, Alessandra de Rossi admitted that she also turned down many projects the year before. Apparently, the actress has refused to work on six television series and three movies because she did not like the message that they were trying to portray to the viewers.
