Amid the coronavirus pandemic, millions of Filipinos lost their livelihood. Due to the lockdown and restriction, employees and employers alike were affected. Many had to resort to odd jobs just to stay afloat. Even some celebrities, whose projects were affected by the lockdown, looked for other jobs to keep themselves busy.

Among them is Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes. As you may well know, the pandemic has also taken its toll on the entertainment industry. Taping for TV programs and shows were halted, and movies were postponed. So, to keep himself busy amid the lockdown, Dingdong had another sideline!

Throughout the lockdown, Dingdong has been helping his wife, Marian Rivera, in their business. As a matter of fact, the actor even volunteered to deliver some of their goods! In many instances, fans on the street have spotted Dingdong delivering the orders on his motorcycle.

Earlier this week, another fan was starstruck after seeing Dingdong Dantes on the road in his BMW. In the photos, the actor was spotted carrying an insulated box. Earlier this year, he launched his very own application which is open f0r booking deliveries.

The service was aptly called Dingdong, and their tag line remains: “You ring it, we bring it.” Indeed, this is a lucrative business amid the pandemic, when most people are afraid to risk their lives by going outside.

With the help of apps like these, they can have anything delivered straight to their doorstep.
