Many people are still mourning the passing of OPM icon April Boy Regino. Shortly after the singer’s passing, his US-based daughter, Charm, and his brother, Vingo, paid tribute to him on social media. They shared vlogs reminiscing their memories of their beloved ‘Daddy’ or ‘Kuya.’ In JC’s one vlog, he showed the last moments of the singer when he was still alive.

Just a few months before his passing, April Boy led an active lifestyle. As seen on several clips, the singer is truly enjoying his bonding moments with his family. He was even spotted joining a karaoke session in their home with his wife and they also spent their wedding anniversary this year.

That being said, they were extremely worried when April Boy was rushed to a hospital in Antipolo. According to JC, they arrived at 4:00 pm but it took the hospital more than two hours to admit them. By that time, the singer was already so weak that he needed a nebulizer to help him breathe.

His scheduled dialysis did not push through because the hospital claimed there was another patient in need of dialysis. A few hours later, April Boy’s condition worsened until his body finally gave up.

“Lumobo yung tiyan niya, masakit daw kanina tiyan niya tapos tinurukan ng gamot sa tiyan. Maya-maya umano na yung dila niya, lumobo yung tiyan. Nakikiusap ako na idialysis na,” said Madelyn, the singer’s wife. According to Madelyn, the dialysis would surely make a difference in the singer’s condition.

Because of these revelation, many people can’t help but think that there was some negligence in the hospital’s part. As of now, the singer’s remains are interred at his restobar in Marikina City. Fans are still waiting for the update about his funeral.
