Many OPM fans were shocked at the sudden passing of another talented star. Fans are mourning the loss of the music industry with Jamir Garcia’s death. Garcia is the vocalist of the rock bank ’Slapshock.’ He passed away on Thursday, November 26. He was 42 years old at the time of his passing.
According to reports, the band vocalist was found lifeless in his home in Brgy. Sangandaan, Quezon City. Upon discovering his body, Garcia was immediately rushed to the Metro North Medical Center and Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Shortly after, rumors and speculations about Garcia’s passing spread on social media. Some people claimed that his death has been predicted by self-professed psychic Rudy Baldwin. A month before Garcia’s passing, Baldwin posted a cryptic ‘vision’ on Facebook dated on October 21.
“Isang kilalang tao ang mag-suicide, sa nakikita ko sa vision ko magulo ang isip niya kahit may mga kaibigan pa na nagbibigay sa kanya ng payo. Kahit gaano kabigat ang problema, huwag basta lang isuko ang buhay natin,”reads an excerpt of Baldwin’s post.
While some people think that this might be attributed to Garcia, there are also some netizens who believe otherwise. They remain skeptical about Baldwin’s alleged vision, and claimed that Garcia’s passing has nothing to do with her prediction, as it can happen to anyone.
