Veteran actress Nikki Valdez recently had a close brush with death. On social media, Nikki shared that she had to be hospitalized due to an unfortunate accident. In a photo, the actress can be seen sitting in a wheelchair in the hallway of a hospital. Nikki was also spotted wearing a cast and arm supporter. She shared the story of her accident on Instagram.
“Today, I came home with a grateful heart. Much worse could have happened but here I am alive and in one piece (may kamay na bakal lang nga but all good!!). It may take time for a full recovery but I will be diligent in doing everything to feel better,” wrote the actress on Instagram.

According to Nikki Valdez, she was lucky to escape with only an arm injury. However, she did not specify what truly caused the incident.
She lamented that worse could’ve happened to her, but fortunately, only her hand was damaged. She went through surgery to attach steel on her right arm for a speedy recovery.
The actress also expressed her gratitude to everyone who reached out and supported her throughout this period. According to Nikki, she was truly relieved to recover quickly from her injury because she doesn’t want to be a burden to her loved ones.
“Thank you to everyone who reached out and sent get well soon messages and encouragement. I must admit, I have been feeling down since the accident happened.
The last thing I want is maging pabigat sa mga taong nakapaligid sa akin kaya ang sama ng loob ko sa nangyari,” added the actress.
On the other hand, fans and fellow celebrities alike express their prayers and well wishes to Nikki. Her fellow stars like Tony Labrusca, Arlene Muhlach, Sunshine Cruz, Miles Ocampo, Neri Miranda, and more also expressed their support for Nikki.
