A married woman in Mandaue City was arrested after her husband caught her in bed with another man. The husband, who was a seaman, followed his wife into a motel, where he caught her with her lover! The man immediately called the police to arrest the pair, but when they entered the motel room, the wife was nowhere to be found.
At first, the authorities thought that the wife must’ve escaped the room. However, right when they were about to leave, they were shocked when a shoe fell from the ceiling.
As it turns out, the wife, frightened of being caught cheating red-handed, climbed in the ceiling to hide from her husband. She was eventually taken to the station for questioning.

The husband, who works as a seaman, told investigators that he was with his wife in a taxi, but he went down first and his wife went on to go to work.
However, the suspicious husband decided to follow his wife until he saw her ride in another taxi. She went to the pier, where she met up with another man!
The two then rode another taxi that went straight to the motel. At the gate of the motel, the husband called his friend and summoned the police.
He wanted to caught the pair in the act, but it seems like they found out that they were being followed. The lover, who was also a seaman, went outside first while the wife hid in the room.
During the interview with the investigators, the lover revealed that they have been in an illicit affair for three years. Throughout that time, they managed to hide their relationship from the unknowing spouse.
Since the husband works as a seaman, there were long periods when he’s gone from home.
Apparently, his children have already told them about his wife’s affair, but he didn’t believe them at first. However, during the pandemic, he grew more suspicious of his wife’s odd behavior.
