In the showbiz industry, it’s not uncommon for female celebrities to hide about their pregnancy. Sometimes, it can take months or even years before a celebrity will admit to the public about her personal life. This is also what happened to former actress Karen Reyes.
For many years now, many fans have speculated that the former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate has already given birth twice. However, despite the rumors, Karen Reyes has not revealed anything to the public. It was only this year when she finally admitted the truth in her vlog.
During her interview in “Magandang Buhay,” Karen explained the reason why she didn’t broadcasted her two kids to the public. According to Karen, she also have no regrets in the way she raised them away from the prying eyes of some people.
“Wala naman din pong pagsisisi na itinago ko siya kasi nung time na ‘yon ay sunod-sunod din po ‘yung projects. Hindi ko naman din ginusto na itago siya, nagkataon lang po talaga. Sumabay lang ako sa flow,” said Karen.
As you may well remember, Karen first revealed about her two kids in her vlog way back in May. The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate also confirmed that the father of her two kids is Silent Sanctuary band vocalist Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay.
She gave birth to her daughter Olivia 2017 then to Lucas in 2019. Karen also shared that she’s delighted with the overwhelming support she got on social media after finally revealing the truth.
“Ang sarap! Siyempre mommy na tayo, ang sarap may kakuwentuhan na nakaka-relate sa iyo. Hindi ko ini-expect ‘yung pagtanggap nila sa akin na ganyan din sila, maagang nagbuntis tapos takot na takot din sila sa magulang nila.”
