Many fans were disheartened after learing that the iconic OPM singer, April Boy Regino, has passed away. On November 29, the loved ones of the singer shared on social media that he finally bid goodbye. The singer was only 59 years upon his passing. As expected, thousands of fans all over the nation mourn the loss of yet another star.
“Nakakalungkot naman ang araw na ito, wala na ang kuya April Boy ko,” wrote Vingo on Facebook. He was one of the first family members who announced the passing of the iconic singer.
Even though April Boy Regino’s cause of death wasn’t specified, many netizens speculated that it might have something to do with his health.

Shortly after, Vingo also shared a video wherein he reminisced on his memories and experience with his older brother. According to Vingo, before April Boy passed away, he even left him a sound advice. April Boy told him to ignore his problems and focus more on his happiness.
As you may well know, April Boy is a robust performer in his prime. However, as he grew older, the OPM singer also battled with multiple health problems.
In fact, his one eye became blinded due to diabetes. However, some netizens wondered if the singer had been infected with COVID-19.
In his vlog, Vingo finally settled the matter once and for all. He denied the rumors that his brother passed away due to COVID-19. According to Vigo, April Boy’s real cause of death was diabetes. During his time of passing, one of his kidneys have also failed.
April Boy’s remains were interred at his own restobar. His wife, Madelyn, also expressed her gratitude to all of the people who has been supporting them throughout this period.
